Edgar Moguel
Specialist and educator in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), founder of Bollywood Scalp and Bollywood Scalp Academy, with a career built over more than six years of dedication, continuous education, and specialization.
His career has been defined by a constant pursuit of improvement. He has trained internationally with leading professionals in the industry in countries such as Canada, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, and Venezuela, combining different knowledge and techniques to develop his own distinctive style, with a particular focus on natural-looking results, customized hairlines, and a high level of technical execution.
Throughout his career, he has worked with men and women experiencing different types of alopecia, hair density loss, scarring, and hair transplant results, understanding that behind every procedure there is a personal story. For Edgar, scalp micropigmentation goes far beyond an aesthetic transformation: it means helping a person recognize themselves again, regain confidence, and leave behind a stage of life that often affected the way they lived for many years.
His work has received international recognition. In Lisbon 2024, he received the award for Best Scalp Micropigmentation Artist; that same year, in New York, he received the Rising Star recognition. Later, in Madrid 2025, he achieved fourth place as Best Micropigmentation Artist in America, while also becoming a finalist in international competitions within the field.
Alongside his work with clients, Edgar has developed an important role as an educator and speaker. Through Bollywood Scalp Academy, he shares not only technical skills, but also the knowledge and experience gained through years of practice, training, and working with real cases.
His voice has also begun to reach specialized stages, participating as a speaker at industry conferences and events, where he approaches scalp micropigmentation from a perspective that brings together education, experience, technique, and purpose.
Today, Edgar continues to bring his work and methodology to new spaces both within and outside Mexico, with a clear vision: to help elevate the standards of scalp micropigmentation, train better-prepared professionals, and demonstrate that behind great technique there must always be knowledge, responsibility, and sensitivity toward the person who places their trust in our hands.
Because for Edgar Moguel, scalp micropigmentation is not simply about changing what a person sees in the mirror, but about helping them recover something much deeper: the way they see themselves again.
